Job Description
To conduct after school tuition classes based on Korea Ministry of Education curriculum to Korean students from Preschool to Grade 6 levels
(Preference will be given to applicants already residing in Singapore)
WORKING HOURS : 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
SALARY : S$4500 to S$5000 per month
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Graduate from Korea Universities with relevant teaching subjects
- Possess Teacher’s level certification (from Korea)
WORKPLACE :
- Jurong East (Main)
- May need to travel to other enrichment centres if classes can be formed

Responsible for:
- Developing and teaching schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives;
- facilitating learning by establishing good relationships with students and by the effective organisation of learning resources and the learning environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create a lively, communicative atmosphere in class which is conducive to teaching and learning.
- Plan, deliver and evaluate lessons, maintaining up-to-date records and forward plans.
- Monitor the attendance of students and ensure that they are doing, to the best of their ability, classwork and any homework and coursework, and that it is up-to-date and marked.
- Review student progress and, where appropriate, seek help for students with perceived learning support needs.
- Review student progress and in the case of behavioural or educational problems communicate these as appropriate to the School and parents.
- Monitor compliance with policies.
- Organise learning resources and ensure that they are looked after.
- Maintain and improve personal standards of teaching, sharing ideas with other staff.
- Create appropriate assessment material as appropriate.
- Attend meetings, Parent-Teacher interviews, presentations, events and activities as required.
- Complete students’ progress reports as required.
- Undertake other tasks and duties as reasonably requested by the School.
